1.Immediate Reporting: If you witness or are aware of an incident or behavior that violates our safeguarding policies, you are encouraged to report it immediately. Early reporting can prevent escalation and helps us to provide support and intervention as quickly as possible. 

2.Contacting Designated Safeguarding Officers: JJAU has designated safeguarding officers available at all levels of the organization. Their contact details are published on our website, distributed at events, and available through your club or national federation. You can reach out to them directly with any concerns. 

3.Confidential Reporting System: JJAU provides a confidential reporting system accessible via our website or through a dedicated hotline. This system ensures that your report will be handled discreetly and will be seen only by the necessary safeguarding personnel. 

4.Online Reporting Form: An online form is available on the JJAU website, allowing you to submit a report anonymously if you prefer. This form is secure and ensures that your identity is protected while allowing us to receive and act on your concern.

What Happens After You Report: 

1.Acknowledgment: Every report received will be acknowledged promptly, ensuring you know your concern has been heard and is being addressed. 
2.Assessment: Each report will be assessed by our safeguarding team to determine the appropriate course of action, whether it involves an immediate response, further investigation, or referral to external authorities. 
3.Confidentiality: All reports are treated with the utmost confidentiality. Information is shared only on a need-to-know basis to protect the individuals involved and to ensure an effective response. 
4.Support: Individuals who report concerns, as well as those impacted by safeguarding issues, will have access to support services, ensuring they receive the necessary care and assistance. 
5.Follow-Up: The reporting individual will receive follow-up communication regarding the status of their report and any actions taken, respecting confidentiality and the integrity of the investigation process.
