Ju-Jitsu will be part of the Asian Beach Games 2014

The Olympic Council of Asia and the Local Organizing Committee of Thailand accepted Ju-Jitsu to be part of the Asian Beach Games in Phuket in November 2014. Almost 100 Participants will compete in Ne-Waza Ju-Jitsu and Freestyle Duo System

During the preparation Meeting of the 4th Asian Beach Games the Olympic Council of Asia and the Local Organizing Committee of Thailand accepted Ju-Jitsu to be an additional sport in the official program.

The delegates of Ju-Jitsu Asian Union could present the sports and a format of Ju-Jitsu fights addapted to the beach.
The Ju-Jitsu event shall be hold at 12th and 13th November including the dicilpines Ne-Waza and an adapted Duo System (Duo Freestyle - Show).

Fahad Ali AL Shamsi , General Secretary, and Mubarak AL Menhali could discuss the importat items with OCA General Manager Husain AL Musalam and General Charouck Arirachakaran of Thailand Olympic Committee.

The technical conditions had been presented by Joachim Thumfart, Sports director, and Rodrigo Valerio.

Due to the good preparation work of Dr. Jaffer AL Muthafer the negotiations lead to a good result for all.
